Big things in Small Packages

Everyone says the best presents come in small packages, and it is true, especially when you have a baby. I have always heard that when you have a baby you feel things you have never felt before and boy, were they right. On July 14th our son Davis was born at 4:52pm. It was the most amazing day of my life (it ranks up there with marrying the man of my dreams). To see the joy of life right before my eyes...Whoever says they don't believe in God has apparently never experienced having a baby. So Davis was born on July 14th at 4:52, weighed 8lbs 1 oz, and was 21 inches long. Josh and I were thrilled to welcome this new little one into our lives. We waited long enough...right?
Now a month has gone by and life has been wonderful. Yes it has been a BIG change but a WONDERFUL change! He has grown now to 10lbs. 4oz, and 22.75in long and the doctor says he is looking good. The long nights of feedings and the screaming crying is all worth the little giggles, grins, sweet cuddling, and even the diapers that smell like roses (haha!!).
