December in a Flash!!

December was a busy month just as it is for everyone. During December, Davis turned 5 months old, we had Christmas parties and Christmas with family but one of the most important things was Davis' baby dedication at the church. Something that is very important to Josh and I is for Davis to grow up in a church where he can grow as a Christian as well as be loved and supported. It was a very special time for Davis, and it was also special that we got to share this time with some of our closest friends. Davis, Colt and Jake were all born within 4 months of each other and we can't wait to see them play together when they get older.

Some of our closest friends in Montgomery. We all had boys around the same time and we look forward to them playing together :)

Following Davis' dedication, we had our family over for a brunch....the food was wonderful.

Davis turned 5 months old this month...wow, how time flies!! (no more boppy, sitting up all by himself)

Merry Christmas from the Dickersons!!

Bailey wishes everyone a Merry Christmas!!

We wish you a Merry Christmas!

This year Christmas had a different feeling. A different type of excitement. It was a wonderful feeling no one can explain, unless you are a mom or dad. This year was Davis' 1st Christmas and it was a blast. Our Christmas Eve started off in the Doctor's office. Davis woke up wheezing and coughing pretty bad so off to the doc we went. We found out Davis had RSV (a respiratory virus). We had to do steroids 2x a day and breathing treatments 2x a day as well. Davis is such a trooper though...he toughed it out and was just as happy as he could be come Christmas eve night and Christmas day.
Below are a FEW pictures we captured during Christmas. I guess you could say we went overboard with the pictures but you have to capture every special moment...because time flies so fast, before I know it Davis will be walking and talking. :) :(
Josh and I are so blessed to have such a beautiful, sweet baby boy and such a wonderful family.

The kids' table at MawMaw's. Can you tell we are outgrowing the table?

Davis opening his 1st gift from Maw Maw. As you can tell he wanted the paper more than the pillow pet.

Davis' 1st Visit to Santa...he told Santa he wanted an exersaucer, some books, and some other toys. :)

Happy Turkey Day

Well, during the month of November Davis turned 4 months old, we celebrated our 1st Holiday together as a family of 3. We spent Thanksgiving with my grandmother and my mom's side of the family and then we headed to Montgomery to eat with Ms. Cathy and Josh's two sisters. Following Thanksgiving, we headed to Smith Lake (way north Alabama for our annual Ritchey family reunion) It was a wonderful month.
